What we did
When Manchester barristers Lincoln House Chambers wanted to develop an identity for the direct access area of their practice they came to us. The business, Select Lawyer, wanted to appeal to the public who could now approach a barrister directly for instruction. In addition to designing a simple, clean, yet appealing visual identity we were tasked with developing a suite of marketing collateral. Part of this was the design and build of the website.
Unlike much of the legal sector work we undertake, this site was not B2B but B2C. With this in mind we needed to ensure that the site only contained information that would reflect the Select offer and afford an expedient road to instruction. Any text that got in the way of these two goals was omitted. Legalese was avoided- there is no point in baffling your target audience, you need to engage with them.
We developed a simple colour palette and applied this sensitively across all platforms. It was vital to ensure calls to action were prevalent without being brash or obtrusive. The concept and site launched at an SME business conference in Manchester to immediate success.
